LEGAL INFORMATION
Website terms & conditions
English draft for review · 20 October 2026

1. Publisher and scope
This website is operated by Christina Dimopoulou, a lawyer practising in Greece under the name CDIP Law Firm. Professional and contact details appear in the legal notice. These terms set out the conditions governing access to and use of the website, subject to applicable law.
2. Information and legal advice
The website describes the Law Office’s areas of practice and provides general information. Its content is not a legal opinion on a specific situation and should not replace advice based on the relevant facts and applicable law. Legal information may become outdated following changes in legislation or case law.
3. Enquiries and engagement
Accessing the website, preparing an enquiry or sending correspondence does not, in itself, establish a lawyer–client relationship or oblige the Law Office to accept instructions. An engagement requires acceptance by the Law Office after appropriate conflict and other checks, and agreement on scope, fees and terms. An initial enquiry does not mean that a deadline is being monitored or that action will be taken on your behalf.
Please initially provide only the information needed to describe your request. A suitable channel for confidential documents can be agreed before detailed material is sent. Nothing in these terms limits applicable duties of confidentiality or professional secrecy.
4. Description of services and fees
Service descriptions and package examples are indicative of possible engagements. They are not a commitment to provide every listed service in every matter or jurisdiction and do not constitute an online offer to conclude a paid engagement. Availability, deliverables, fees and any third-party costs are agreed individually. The website has no online payment or checkout facility.
The practice is based in Greece and advises on EU-related matters within its professional competence. References to the EU do not imply admission to practise every Member State’s national law. Other counsel or technical specialists may be needed for a particular matter.
5. Permitted use and intellectual property
You may consult the website and make reasonable copies for personal or internal business reference, subject to applicable law. Rights in the logo, text and other materials remain with their respective holders to the extent protected by law. No broader licence is granted unless expressly stated.
You must not misuse the website, introduce malicious code, attempt unauthorised access, interfere with its operation or use its content unlawfully. Statutory exceptions and other mandatory rights remain unaffected.
6. Availability, links and responsibility
Reasonable care is taken in preparing the website, but uninterrupted access or the completeness of general information cannot be guaranteed. Access may be interrupted for maintenance, security or technical reasons. External links are provided for reference; third-party websites are subject to their own terms and policies.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful, or restricts mandatory consumer rights or the Law Office’s professional obligations. Responsibility for legal services is governed by the applicable law and agreed engagement terms.
7. Personal data
The privacy policy explains how personal data are handled. It is provided for transparency and is not a request for blanket consent. Browsing the website or using its contact facilities does not amount to agreement to unrelated data processing or marketing. Consent is requested separately where required.
8. Applicable law and disputes
These website terms are governed by Greek law, without depriving any person of protections afforded by applicable mandatory rules, including consumer protections where relevant. Jurisdiction is determined by the applicable rules; these terms do not impose exclusive Greek jurisdiction where that would restrict mandatory rights.
9. Updates and contact
These terms may be updated prospectively to reflect changes to the website or applicable requirements. The version date is displayed on this page. Questions may be sent to cdim.lawfirm@yahoo.gr.
